Re-invent Launches SQL 2008 Hosting

10/6/08 – Web Hosting Provider Re-invent Technologies announces the launch of Microsoft SQL 2008 in its advanced Windows 2008/2003 shared hosting environment and is available to all customers.

SQL 2008 is the next generation in SQL database technology released by Microsoft. SQL Server 2008 contains new features such as new data types, such as geospatial data types and date/time data types.

Re-invent’s advanced ASP.NET powered control panel offers SQL 2008 hosting tools such as on-demand backup and restore tools as well as a truncation tool and an SQL user/login manager. Customers can manage their SQL 2008 databases with Microsoft SQL Management Studio. SQL 2008 is an add-on on all Re-invent hosting plans and offered free on select plans on new signups.
