But that wasn't it, we have one machine dedicated to this app and nothing else, no changes are made to it and the only thing we use it for are to manage the users through Visual Studio 2005's "Web site Configuration" tool. Which for the last month (remember it was working fine on a daily basis and no changes were made to it), has been giving an error that says something about the server not accepting named pipe connections or something.

I'll replicate the error and then try again to get a hold of tech support.

PS I'm glad nothing has happened to re-invent because I'm loving the hosting package, but this support system is driving me nuts!

RE: Re-Invent?

I checked with our support and we are receiving support emails fine with no issues so I'm not sure why you would get a bounced email. An email to support automatically creates a support ticket. We currently do not provide phone support and our direct HelpDesk is currently undergoing maintenance in order to prepare for a new system which we announced last week..

You may want to check if you are using a firewall that may be blocking your software or the SQL port of 1433 as all SQL servers are up and accepting connections..

Re-Invent?

I've tried using the ticket system and straight up e-mailing support@re-invent.com. Nothing. In fact the e-mails just get bounced back. This has been going on for about a month. I also tried calling, no one answers, no machine picks up.

I need support help because the re-invent SQL server won't accept the connection form VS Studio 2005 any longer. This is how I manage users on my web application and I haven't been able to for about a month now. I have an entire company worth of users I need to deny access too.

So Re-Invent staff:

Are you there?
