It appears that you can't connect themes, templates and dynamic web templates. So if you chose to use DWTs (like I did) and can't attach these DWTs to WSS so that any newly created pages by WSS (like if a user creates a new doc library) will contain the typical MS theme. I have not found a way to duplicate the theme and DWTs without a ton of coding.

Any advice?

RE: Guidance on customizing a WSS site

Hello,

There is a great site that can show you how to customize themes, create templates, etc:

http://www.sharepointcustomization.com/

Guidance on customizing a WSS site

from a WSS newbie, what is the best way to customize the look and navigation of a WSS site? I have created a .html page complete with the images and layouts that I want, but I am at a loss as to the best way to apply it to my WSS site (hosted on re-invent of course). Use Templates? Use Themes? else???

thanks in advance, Kevin
