Dear Customers,

Reinvent Technologies is in the process of implementing SPAM filtering software on all email servers and will be available to all customers at no additional cost.  This entire process will take approximately 1-2 months to fully implement company-wide.  Some email servers have already been implemented with this new feature and some of you may have noticed a significant drop in SPAM arriving in your inbox.

We have been investigating and testing over 50 Anti-Spam / JunkMail products that are compatible with our current email servers over the past year.  We have decided on the Declude JunkMail Pro software for Imail Server after exhaustive testing.

Our reasons for choosing this product and implementing an Anti-Spam solution:

1. Our only reason to date for not implementing an anti-spam solution sooner was no product has yet met our criteria in allowing legitimate emails through while blocking actual SPAM.  Many products had a high false-positive rate which means a high number of legitimate email would be caught which is unacceptable.  This product has shown to not block legitmate emails by using a "weighting" system test on emails. 

2. As mentioned above, with Declude JunkMail, it utilizes a "weighting" system that lets us configure the aggressiveness of spam tests, while helping make sure that legitimate E-mails get through. Declude JunkMail assigns a weight to each test that it runs (the weight settings have been configured by Reinvent and not adjustable by customers), and it finds the total weight for all the tests that the E-mail failed. Based on the Weight score the email is either Held, Bounced, Deleted or allowed to be delivered. 

3. For over 3 months we have been using the product on Reinvent's own mail servers and we are yet to have a legitimate email blocked.  While eliminating over 98.5% of all spam to our email accounts.

5. This product make a great compliment to the Symantec Anti-Virus we use to catch and delete emails that contain viruses sent to any domain in our network.  This creates a total solution for ensuring that safe and legitimate email is delivered to our customers.
