I need to use a third party components from devexpress on the web server.

can I ? and how do i do it?

Yes, this should work as long as the following Dll's are copied into your /bin folder:

DevExpress.Data.dll
DevExpress.Utils.dll
DevExpress.XtraPrinting.dll
DevExpress.XtraReports.dll
