Is it possible to have 3 or 4 different websites or starter kits in various subfolders of my hosting plan (HE-25), each with its own database(s)?

eg:
mydomain.com/commerceStarterKitWebsite
mydomain.com/personalWebsiteStarterKit
mydomain.com/timeTrackerStarterKitWebsite
mydomain.com/myOwnWebsiteWithItsOwnDatabase

Hello

Yes this is possible with separate databases as some starter kits may use the same table names.  The first SQL 2005 database is free, if you require additional databases there is an addon fee and additional SQL 2005 databases can be provisioned from within our Customer Portal.  We do offer to install and configure all of the asp.net 2.0 starter kits you mention without cost to you.   Contact our Sales Dept and they will work on a discount for you for the additional databases.

Hello,

We offer to professionaly install and configure an ASP.NET Starter Kit for your site at no charge.  This saves our customers a lot of time as Starter Kits need to be modified to work in a shared environment with SQL 2005.

You would just need to request for us to install it.. What Starter Kit? and Where on your site?

Thank You!

My Clubsite Starter kit worked fine after you installed it for me. Then I screwed it up somehow. Is there a way to have it re-installed?

Yes, this is not a problem. Just contact our support dept by email or through Support Ticket and they will reinstall.

To change the text in Default.aspx of the club site starter kit, which you installed for me, I opened the website using Visual Studio Express. Solution explorer showed me the file in code mode and I carefully changed the Latin text to what I wanted. I then tried to save the file as I would have done in FrontPage 2003, thinking it would be saved on your host server. Instead it disappeared from the host and went into a temporary file somewhere on my computer.

1. Should I have used the Website Copy file instead of Save?

2. If I can open Default.aspx where it was saved in my temp folder, can I somehow move it back to the host?

3. Should I just beg to have the whole thing reinstalled?

4. Is anyone else this stupid when they first begin?
