Hi,

I bought the webspace three days ago, and require domain transfer service. Still my domain seems doesn't to be transfered. I wondering when will you complete the process. BTW, I uploaded my company website to the webspace which built upon ASP + ACCESS technique, but seems it doesn't work in this space, the database cannot be loaded in the ASP page. Is it the problem of domain transfer? Looking forward your reply.

Regards,

Hello,

We currently do not provide Domain Name Transfer service.   Usually customers update their domain name at the domain registrar where they have their domain name registered with our DNS Name Servers.  This will point your domain name to our servers within 3 -24 hours.

If you want to actually transfer domain registrars to us you would need to visit http://www.reinventdomains.com to get the process started and choose Domain Transfer from the Menu.

If would be difficult to say with your ASP and Access database issue as it could be many things, i.e. incorrect path to your database in your connection string or other similiar issue.   Our support dept would need to be sent the error message in order to assist you further.

Hi,

Domain Transfer problem has been solved, but still cannot display ASP page properly. I upload the same file to another ASP webspace, it works normally. But still have the problem using in your space. Just wondering which one is the root file and do I have to put the database into the database folder which existed already? Thank you for your reply.

Many Thanks,

Totemic Trading

Hi,

The domain name is ok, but still has problem on database, seems cannot connect to database. when I entered the page which needs to use the database data, nothing displayed, no products, no news... BTW, I hide the database suffix .mdb and change to .asp instead. I test it ok on other ASP space, but cannot run on yours, please help me check it.

Many Thanks,

Totemic Trading

Hello,

You would need to contact our support dept as I do not know your account info nor what you are attempting to do.  This is the Pre-Sales Topic in the forum.

I would suggest changing the file type back to .mdb.
