Hi there, I am looking forward to buy hosting at re-invent. Question, does some of you was able to connect from Visual Studio.NET to the hosted MS SQL database? Some hosts are not allowing to do this for security reasons. I posted this ? 2 days ago at pre-sales forum and ... no answer yet. It looks like not much activities so far at the forums. Anybody ? Thank You

| Hi I had bought the Hosting and got the following details SQL server IP , username , password and database but facing difficulty in connecting to database. Using Sql Server Manager , how do i connect to a server which is not in my network. I have the ip which is a public ip but i am not getting place where i can configure this information If somebody have a clue or any idea about it , help will be greatly appreciated. best regards sanjay sahu
