Hello,

I just purchased a server-side COM component to aid me with functionality desired in an ASP.NET website I am developing locally on my machine at home.  It requires running regsvr32 to install it (and 2-3 other supporting com dlls).

I don't need it installed on my site at this time, but I was wondering if you can provide the DLL installation service in the future if I point you to the location of the DLLs.

  Thanks,

  Alex

Hello,

We currently do not offer installation of custom or commercial COM components on the shared servers unless it is something we have in our supported components list...  We would entertain supporting a commercial component server-wide after approval, licensing and testing internally.

We do allow the use of any and all ASP.NET components that does not require registration.  If you have any further questions, please let us know.
