Re-invent Announces Installation of the .NET 3.5 Framework (ASP.NET 3.5)

Re-invent is proud to be one of the first hosts to integrate this new technology into their hosting environment.  The .NET 3.5 Framework is now available in our advanced ASP.NET Hosting environment which also includes the .NET 3.0, .NET 2.0 and .NET 1.1 Frameworks!  Re-invent is also Microsoft Silverlight Compatible!

.NET Framework 3.5 builds incrementally on the new features added in .NET Framework 3.0 and integrates  Language Integrated Query (LINQ). For example, feature sets in Windows Workflow Foundation (WF), Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and Windows CardSpace. In addition, .NET Framework 3.5 contains a number of new features in several technology areas which have been added as new assemblies to avoid breaking changes.

Hello

I'm trying to create a .net 3.5 sp 1 dynamic data site and at first I was getting errors about some assemblies missing.

I copied all the .net 3.5 dlls from my machine to the bin folder and i'm still getting an error

Compiler Error Message: CS0570: 'System.Web.DynamicData.DynamicDataExtensions.GetTable()' is not supported by the language

thanks

Not all servers have the SP1 update due to problems the SP1 update creates for some customer and commercial applications not yet compatible with the SP1 update.  If you are on a new account activated after October 3 2008, then you do have the SP1 update on the server you are on.  Otherwise you may have some sort of coding issue requiring further investigation by a web developer.

Thanks Plato,

Is it possible to move my account to 3.5 SP1 server? Because the new .net dynamic data website requires 3.5 SP1

thanks

At this time there isn't.. You could open a new account transfer your data and then cancel your previous account.  Any remaining time would be credited to you.
