issues:

1. logged in as host or admin instead of icon upload i see: "You don't have permission to see the files on
the site" however when i log in from another place its there...


2. In rich text editor admin cannot browse any folders. File manager is synchronized, permissions as default.

Any clues?

Sync'ing the file system is usually the fix for that error. It could be a bug with v 4.9.0.   You could try posting your question to the DotNetNtuke Forums to see if anyone has a recommendation:
